Kata, an ex teenage movie star and widely published editorial photographer from Budapest lands in Melbourne aged 21 in the hope of a big adventure leaving a fancy magazine photography job offer, her family and friends behind.
Unexpectedly and of course for love she decides to stay in Australia and embarks on a colourful whirlwind of a trip which eventually leads her all the way to Sydney. Life now includes a partner in crime, and teenage monster who is a budding muso called Bruno. Currently seeking a new rescue puppy to complete the family.
The joy of making images, finding beautiful secrets in the shadows, and exploring life stories are still the biggest driving forces of Kata's work and career. In recent years she has also been working as an art director as well as a photographer.
